I spend a month or so at Corrine and Barry's home and I felt instantly welcome and at home.
The other girls that were living there were lovely people.
The two cats and Billy the dog are the cutest ever and well behaved.
To go to the centre of Sutton takes less than 5 minutes to walk to catch a bus and 10 minutes or so to take the train if you want to head to Brum city centre! Plus, there's a Co-op nearby and other shops.
You can enjoy the tranquillity of the Nature reserve it is worth a visit!
Although all the rules are not respected, the house is well maintained, comfortable and you feel as if you're a part of the family.

I have stayed with them 1 month and they made me feel like in home, I didnt intereact too much with them, because I was trying to improve my english all time, just reading, going out with some people or whatever I did. But they are a normal family, if u need something they will give u for sure, they are very polite and the location is amazing, if u like nature u should go with them. Best wishes for them :)

I have been at Corrine's this year (2015) for 6 weeks. Since the very first second she made me feel very comfortable in her house. Both she and her partner are lovely people, very chatty, open minded and will help you any time you have a question about the city, public transport, places to go and so on. I have very good memories about my stay there and especially about the evening conversations in which we laughed a lot. When you are abroad and alone, it is important to have someone to talk with and not only a room to sleep.

I stayed with Corrine for 3 months this year and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her and her family. She made me feel very welcome and was always there to help if I had any problems. I was studying English in Birmingham which was a 20 minute journey on the train which is only a 6 minute walk from her house. We spent many a night talking about Switzerland and how similar our cultures were. We went out for meals with the family and I was included in everything of family life. We have kept in contact and Corrine is coming to stay with me and my family in Switzerland in 2015.
