Our home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one which you will get to use for yourself. We are an American, multi-cultural family with background experiences from the Philippines, Mexico, Jordan, Sudan and Kenya. You can only imagine all the different kinds of food we love to eat! We lived and worked in African countries for many years, so we love to share our stories and experiences. I am a licensed ESL teacher and have been teaching English to international students for more than 15 years. I also love to run and cycle. We have a 15 year old son who was raised in Africa and is super friendly, funny and social. We also have our dog, Summer, who came with us from Kenya. She is very active, barky and loves to snuggle with anyone who will give her attention. Welcome to our home!

Our home is in a quiet and safe west suburban area bordering Chicago about 10 minutes away by car. We are 15 minutes away from Chicago O'hare airport. There are various supermarkets, a health club, clothing shops, coffee shops and fast-food restaurants a mile away from our home. In addition, there is a park that has a tennis court, a volleyball court, a path to run/walk and a water park (open June - August) less than a mile away.
